The SocketScan SDK: Embedding support for Socket data
collection products in your application
The SocketScan Software Developers Kit is designed for
software developers and system integrators wishing to embed
support for Socket’s data collection products into a new or
existing application. Windows, Palm, and Symbian versions of the
SDK provide the tools and sample code to build custom
applications connecting Socket's entire family of Mobility
Friendly™ bar
code scanners or RFID readers to a wide variety of mobile
and desktop computing platforms.
The major advantage
for developers is that a single SocketScan API supports
all Socket data collection products, minimizing the development
effort and maximizing the flexibility to match the most
appropriate Socket product to any combination of user,
application and environment.
