Specially engineered for HID proximity cards

Proximity cards present a special challenge to ID card printers. The antenna embedded inside the proximity card makes the card surface uneven. So when the printhead of a conventional dye-sublimation printer moves across the surface of a proximity card, it can leave blemishes on printed images and bar codes. That means wasted cards.

But unlike dye-sub printers, the CardJet™ 410 uses a print jet — not a printhead — that never touches the proximity card surface. The CardJet 410 prints flawlessly over the uneven card surface. You get exceptional image quality every time while virtually eliminating wasted cards.
