The 1526L carries worldwide medical
certifications and utilizes AccuTouch five-wire resistive touchscreen
technology, the most widely used technology for medical equipment
applications. Certifications include UL/cUL 2601-1/C22.2 No. 601.1,
CE MDD/Demko EN60601-1, and CB Report & Certificate to all member
deviations. The innovative IPX1 enclosure design, coupled with the
addition of a special gasket, ensures that the entire touchmonitor
sheds water and is safe from liquid drops and spills. The drip-proof
nature of
this touchmonitor also provides a seal which allows the monitor
to be sterilized with hospital-grade disinfectants. As a result, this
monitor
can be safely placed in patient care areas, such as the operating
room, where contamination may occur. The AccuTouch touchscreen can be
activated with a gloved hand or any stylus-a critical capability
for
