Inquire About This Product
10 Channels at 2 Watts
The ALR-8780 utilizes 10 simultaneous channels-nine more than were supported by readers compliant with the earlier ETSI standard. This, combined with Alien's broadband listen-before-talk capability, enables substantially more readers to operate successfully in the same vicinity than was previously possible.
Sophisticated Data-Handling and Notification
The ALR-8780 reduces overall infrastructure costs and enhances RFID data management through configurable buffering and filtering of tag data. Reads can be triggered by external events, commands or schedules, and operators can be notified of tag events by LAN, I/O signal or email.
Easy Implementation and Management
The ALR8780 supports plug-and-play deployment starting with automatically acquiring its IP address while configuration can be accomplished remotely over the LAN or locally.
European compliant and Gen 2 upgradeable
The ALR-8780 can be used in most European countries and New Zealand, and is software-upgradeable to Class 1 Gen 2.
