HHP IT3800

The IT3800 connects to all popular PCs, Apple MAC, and portable data terminals. Models are available for IBM retail terminals (4683/93, OCIA) and for PDF417 applications as well. Available in both black and beige, the IT3800 is ideally suited to retail point-of-sale, in-store inventory, document management, transaction processing, and vehicle registration applications.

The IMAGETEAM 3800 ESD is a high performance scanner designed for the stringent requirements of clean room assembly of sensitive electronic components. The IT3800 ESD is constructed of conductive materials engineered to eliminate the build up of dangerous static charge on the scanner and to quickly drain the charge from any other object with which it comes in contact. The IT3800 ESD is assembled for use in a Class 100 clean room environment and is triple bagged for proper introduction into the end use environment.Internal components of the IT3800 ESD scanner are isolated from the conductive path formed by the case, output connector shield, and special shielded cable with drain wire. The scanner is rated for discharges up to 15 kV without damage. Two models are available: the IT3800 VHD/ESD which reads very high density bar codes and the IT3800 LR/ESD for more typical applications.All materials used in the IT3800 ESD are tested using the methods described in ASTM D257, Standard Test Methods for Conductance of Insulating Materials. The surface resistivity is rated at less than 10E8 ohms/square. Triboelectric residual charge is measured with a non contact Electrostatic Field Meter and is less than 5 volts on any surface.

The IMAGETEAM 3800 LX is a longer range, high performance, hand held bar code scanner designed to match the reading distance of standard range lasers. Using linear imaging technology, the IT3800 LX offers a bright, sharp aiming line and high-resolution imaging to deliver exceptional reading performance. This durable model is excellent in hand held scanning applications, such as point of sale where hand scanning is required for large bulky items, shipping and warehousing or anywhere where low to medium density bar codes are being read 2 to 3 feet away. The IT3800 LX can be used indoors or outside in bright sunlight.

The IMAGETEAM 3800 PDF delivers fast, accurate reading of PDF417, as well as all standard linear symbologies. Specially designed hardware and firmware are optimized and combined with a bright, sharp, aiming line for exceptional performance in any environment. The PDF label is read by sweeping the scanner up or down over the code, quickly gathering, decoding, and outputting the data to the host system. The IT3800 PDF offers a full five year warranty, and is an excellent choice for office and postal automation, supply chain management, and vehicle registration applications.
